Garmin GPS Forerunner 305-Anyone wanting to have specific information about thier workouts need this device

GARMIN GPS FORERUNNER 305 From Amazon. Forerunner 305 personal training watch with GPS. The Forerunner 305 sports a unique design that wraps the GPS antenna around part of the wrist for a better view of the sky, and its high sensitivity GPS receiver provides improved tracking under trees and near tall buildings. Forerunner 305 also sports a robust ANT+ wireless heart rate monitor with softer, more comfortable chest strap and superior battery life. It eliminates cross-talk with other devices to reliably measure and send heart rate data, and it helps you train in your optimal heart rate zone. Forerunner 305's "Courses" feature lets you compete against previous workouts, and you can compare your pace and heart rate to your past performance over the same run. You can also use Forerunner 305 to train for your next duathlon or triathlon with multi-sport workouts, a feature that lets you seamlessly transition between sports without resetting the unit, so you can use it for running, biking and more. Train indoors and still track your distance, pace and calories burned with the optional Foot Pod accessory. This wireless sensor attaches to your running shoe and transmits distance and pace data to your Forerunner 305 so you can still use it when GPS reception is unavailable. You can customize any of Forerunner 305's three main data screens up to twelve data fields give you instant feedback on your workout. And, as with every Forerunner, each workout is stored in memory so you can review and analyze the data and see how you've improved over time. As an added benefit, you can plan, analyze and store data from your workouts using free Garmin Training Center software, which lets you analyze data with interactive graphs that chart your pace, time, distance and heart rate. Package includes AC charger and expander strap.

Anyone wanting to have specific information about thier workouts need this device. As far as I can see this is the best unit out there. Once they make it waterproof it will be perfect and that is coming this summer. I prefer it greatly over the other model that looks more like a conventional wristwatch.

Alabama Crimson Tide Football: Pat Dye Says Alabama Crimson Tide Not Unbeatable

Pat Dye Says Alabama Crimson Tide Not Unbeatable

Pat Dye claims Alabama is clearly the best team in the nation and could be better than last year, but the former Auburn head coach also warned that the Crimson Tide won't sail through its Southeastern Conference schedule without some serious challenges.

"If they get beat, it will be an upset," Dye told a huge crowd at the Montgomery Quarterback Club's meeting Tuesday night. "But you have to be lucky to go undefeated, I don't care how good you are.
"If they are not at the top of their game and the team they're playing is at the top of their game, that team will have a chance to win. The SEC is just too tough a league."
Dye also had encouraging words for Auburn fans, saying the Tigers are "a work in progress" and that they have the right coach in place in Gene Chizik. But the Auburn coaching legend was extraordinarily generous in his praise of the Tigers' cross-state rival.
"This is kind of hard to say as an Auburn man, but Alabama is a fun team to watch," he said. "They play the game the way it ought to be played.
"I'm not like a lot of Auburn people. I don't hate Alabama. I spent nine years there, and I'm indebted to Alabama because when Coach (Paul) Bryant hired me on his staff, I'd never coached a day in my life. So I have great respect for the University of Alabama and their success and their traditions."
Dye said Chizik is the right man at Auburn, and urged Tiger fans to be patient while Chizik and his staff rebuild Auburn into an SEC title contender again.
"Alabama's got the right man in there now," Dye said, referring to Tide head coach Nick Saban. "But it took them 20 years. We've got a good coach at Auburn right now, and the fans need to trust him.
"The big thing is, Auburn needs to worry about what's happening at Auburn and not worry about what's happening across the state. Because we can only control what goes on at Auburn. If we are the best that we can be at Auburn, then that'll take care of Alabama."
Dye expressed disappointment in former Auburn coach Tommy Tuberville's recruiting efforts his last three years on the job.

Top 25 with The Alabama Crimson Tide Leading the Pack.

Estill Springs, TN – Disappointment was expressed by some commentators and writers about what they considered over hype about the big time college schedule for September 11, 2010. Some of them were looking for an upset Saturday that did not happen. The closet thing to a loss in the top ten was James Madison beating Virginia Tech thereby dimensioning Boise State's win over Virginia Tech in week 1.

Here is how I rank the teams going into week 3.

1. Alabama
Alabama (2-0) had no trouble with Penn State. Trent Richardson rushed for 144 yards. Next week Mark Ingram and Marcell Dareus return to the team.

2. Ohio State
The Buckeyes beat Miami 36-24. Terrelle Pryor had 12 completions and added 113 yards rushing.

3. Boise State

4. Oregon
The Quack Attack scored 35 second-half points on its way to a 48-13 victory at Tennessee. The game was tied 13-13 at the half.

5. TCU
The Horned Frogs blasted Tennessee Tech 62-7. Andy Dalton played just long enough to complete 15 of 21 for 187 yards and a touchdown.

6. Iowa
The Hawkeyes cruised to a 35-7 victory against its state rivals. Adam Robinson rushed for a career-high 156 yards on only 14 carries, while quarterback Ricky Stanzi threw for 204 yards and two touchdowns.

7. Nebraska
The Huskers defeated Idaho 38-17. Nebraska's defense also returned two interceptions for touchdowns, nearly outscoring the Vandals on its own. Nebraska committed 10 penalities.

8. Texas
Rising star sophomore quarterback Garrett Gilbert made his first home start, throwing for 222 yards and a touchdown in the Longhorns' 34-7 victory over Wyoming.

9. Oklahoma
The Sooners clubbed Florida State 47-17. Quarterback Landry Jones completed 30 of 40 for 380 yards and four touchdowns for Oklahoma.

10. Utah
The Utes glided  past UNLV 38-10. Cain threw for 207 yards and two touchdowns for the Utes. touchdowns.

11. Michigan
Michigan quarterback Denard Robinson rushed for 255 yards in the 28-24 comeback win at Notre Dame. Robinson, who finished with 502 total yards, set the Big Ten record for rushing yards by a quarterback.

12. South Carolina
South Carolina freshman Marcus Lattimore rushed 37 times for 182 yards and two touchdowns as the Gamecocks  beat Georgia 17-6. The Gamecocks held Georgia to 61 yards rushing.

13. Wisconsin
The Badgers posted a lackluster 27-14 victory over San Jose State.

14. Florida
Florida broke open a close game at halftime to run away from South Florida 38-14. In the third quarter,  the Gators ran off 21 consecutive points.

15. Stanford
Stanford  held UCLA to 233 yards, including only 81 yards passing. Andrew Luck also threw for 151 yards and two touchdowns as the Cardinal ended a six-game losing streak to UCLA in the Rose Bowl.

16. Arkansas
The Razorbacks (2-0) routed Louisiana-Monroe 31-7. Quarterback Ryan Mallett put the hammer down against Louisiana-Monroe, throwing for 400 yards and three touchdowns.

17. Auburn
Auburn edged Mississippi State 17-14. Auburn out-gained Mississippi State by more than 100 yards, but still had to hold on down the stretch.

18. LSU
The Tigers beat Vanderbilt, winning 27-3. LSU did not have to survive any second-half comeback. LSU's Steven Ridlay rushed for a career-high 159 yards, 144 coming in the second half.

19. West Virginia
West Virginia  downed marshall  24-21 overtime. West Virginia rallied from a 21-6 deficit to remain a perfect 10 in all 10 meetings against the Thundering Herd.

20. Miami
Miami was picked apart  by Ohio State 36-24. Four interceptions doomed the Canes.

21. Arizona
Arizona  routed The Citadel 52-6 and held the Bulldogs to only 171 yards offense while rolling up 489.

22. USC
The Trojans defeated Virginia 17-14. Matt Barkley completed 20 of 35 for 202 yards for USC (2-0). However, for the second consecutive week the Trojans were out-gained by the opposition while still picking up the victory.

23. Houston
Houston whipped UTEP 52-24. Houston rolled up 656 yards offense against the Miners.

Cal jumped out to a 31-0 halftime lead and then cruised past Colorado 52-7.  Cal looks to move to 3-0 for the third time in the past four years this weekend with a rare trip to a WAC school.

25. Penn State
Rob Bolden, the first true freshman quarterback to start in a season opener for coach Joe Paterno, found out the difference between Youngstown State and Alabama. Bolden was only 13 of 29 for 144 yards with two interceptions in the Nittany Lions' loss at Alabama. His next road start for Penn State (1-1) won't be much easier.

Alabama Crimson Tide 24 Penn State 3

The University of Alabama Crimson Tide Football Team defeated  Penn State   24 - 3 at Bryant Denney Stadium in Tuscaloosa Alabama on September 11, 2010.

Running back Trent Richardson set the tone early ripping off run after run with Penn State tacklers hanging on.

The Tide plays Duke on the road next week.

Penn State vs Alabama-Bama Should Win!!!

By Jimmy Boyd(contributor)

The No. 18-ranked Penn State Nittany Lions and top-ranked Alabama Crimson Tide will meet for the first time in a decade on Saturday. Nick Saban and Joe Paterno have meet five times prior to this in the Big Ten with Paterno holding a 3-2 edge.
Penn State heads into Bryant-Denny Stadium coming off a 44-14 win over Youngstown State. Bama rolled to a 48-3 victory against San Jose State last weekend. The latest college football lines have the Tide as a 11.5-point favorite.

Penn State took a while to get going in their opener and actually trailed 7-3 at the end of the first quarter. True freshman quarterback Robert Bolden was surprisingly named the starter for the Nittany Lions. This would mark the first time in Paterno’s 45 years at the school that a first year player has started at QB. Bolden threw for 239 yards and two touchdowns in his debut with one interception.

Evan Royster will break the school rushing mark at some point this season and has been in the Penn State backfield for four seasons now. He was lackluster in the opening game, rushing for just 40 yards on 11 carries. PSU will need a much better effort out of Royster against a stingy Alabama defense.

Penn State's 6’6" wide receiver Brett Brackett used his size to snag eight catches for 98 yards and two scores. The senior came on from nowhere after catching just three passes a year ago. Derek Moye is the top option in the passing game and recorded five receptions for 61 yards.

The defense will be challenged by the balance of the Alabama offense, but stopping the run is a major priority. This side of the ball is lacking the normal star power and allowed 21 of 25 passes thrown against them to be completed last week.

The defending national champs opened the 2010 season in fine form with a workmanlike win over San Jose State. Veteran quarterback Greg McElroy completed 13 of 16 passes for 218 yards and a touchdown. The senior takes care of the ball having thrown an interception in only three games of the 15 he has started. He is 30-0 as a starter dating back to his high school playing days.

The backfield for the Tide is absolutely loaded. It doesn’t look like Heisman trophy winner Mark Ingram will play this weekend, so expect to see a heavy dose of Trent Richardson and Eddie Lacy.

Richardson rushed for 66 yards on 10 carries and scored twice. Lacy was just as effective, rushing for 111 yards and two more scores. Most teams would see production drop off with the loss of such a talented player, but Alabama has enough depth at running back to sustain for that loss.

Julio Jones made a highlight reel touchdown catch in Week 1 and finished with 93 yards on six receptions. The ball was spread around to a variety of receivers as at least five players had three catches or more.

Alabama’s defense will be without their best player, Marcell Dareus, for the second straight game. He will return at Duke after serving his two-game suspension.

This is just one of the marquee matchups of a loaded schedule for college football on Saturday. The line has not moved much meaning the money is pretty consistent leading up to kickoff. Alabama’s biggest concern is there are only two returning starters on the defensive side of the ball, but they will be going up against a true freshman quarterback.

Penn State was good against the run last week and has to duplicate that effort if they want to have any chance of winning this game. I think the Tide’s experience on offense will be too much to overcome as Penn State struggles to score points
